Chinese smartphone maker brand Xiaomi has launched their new budget phone Redmi note 7 in China under their new sub brand Redmi. Xiaomi is making a sub brand Redmi like they have done with Poco.  So now instead of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 it will be called Redmi Note 7. Note 7 is the first phone to their Redmi lineup.


Redmi Note 7 launched in three colour variants, Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, Bright Black. Redmi Note 7 has three Ram variants 3GB, 4GB, 6GB with 32GB & 64 GB storage variants. You can expand upto 256GB by SD card slot.

Camera:

The main USP (unique selling point) is it's camera. It has dual camera setup with 48 Megapixel (Samsung GM1 Sendor) f/1.8 & 5 Megapixel sensor. It also has 13 MP selfie shooter in the front. At the back it has dual tone led flash for low light photography. As we know MIUI camera app has all AI based features. There Redmi Note 7 camera is also fully AI packed features like HDR, portrait mode, night scene mode, EIS, full hd video recording, and more. Front facing camera has features like portrait mode, beauty mode, HDR etc.

Display:

Redmi Note 7 has 6.3 inch 19.5:9 aspect ratio IPS LCD capacitive touch screen (409 ppi) with water drop shape notch. The display has 1080*2340 pixels in terms of resolution & Gorilla glass 5 protection on top.

Battery: 

Redmi Note 7 has Non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery with quick charge 4 support. The company claims it has 250 hours stand by time,  23 hours talktime & 13 hours of video playback time. But it's need to tested in real life scenerio.

Processor & GPU :

Redmi Note 7 comes with Snapdragon 660 SoC combined with Adreno 512 graphics. So performance will not be an issue for this device. You can do day to day task like Facebook, Instagram, playing some casual games easily with this device.

Connectivity & Other Specifications:

Remi Note 7 offers 4G Volte, GPS, Bluetooth v5, type c port, 3.5 mm headphone jack. It's dimensions are159.21x75.21x8.1mm, and weighs 186 grams. Redmi Note 7 includes all the basic sensors like ambient light sensor, gyroscope,infrared sensor, accelerometer, distance sensor, electronic compass & fingerprint sensor.

Redmi Note 7 Price:

The base variant which is 3GB RAM+32GB Storage variant starts from CNY 999 (Roughly Rs 10,000). 4GB RAM + 32 GB storage priced at CNY 1,199 (Roughly Rs 12,000) where 6 GB RAM + 64 GB Storage variant cost CNY 1,399 (Roughly Rs 14,000).
